How A Commissioner Prepares for Battle

I found this article about NBA Commissioner Adam Silver enlightening. It talks about how Silver got ready to deliver his news that was heard around the world — the banning of Donald Sterling, the Clippers owner. Silver has only been commissioner since February, so this was a new role with a tough stance. And he used a crisis wrangler to help him prepare. How’d he do? Seemingly not bad — I particularly like the count of how many words he used in his answers. I believe firmly in “be bright, be brief, be gone” and that is what he did. But you judge!
